Coaching works by offering these five key components:

  1. Structure: By setting a regular time to focus on your goals. When someone else sees your goals, both short and long term, it helps clarify and prioritize goals.
  2. Support: When working passionately towards completion of an essential project, it is important to keep perspective and get support. Human beings are social creatures. We all benefit from getting understanding and support as we cope with life's challenges
  3. Insight: The old saying: "... can't see the forest for the trees" is quite true. In the coaching session, skilled listening assists in bringing forth insights that might otherwise not surface. The insights come both from the individual being coached and from the coach.
  4. Resources: Whatever issues arise in a coaching session, the coach explores helpful resources and shares these resources with the client.
  5. Tracking: In the coaching session, needs are determined, action oriented goals are selected, results are assessed, and then the next set of goals arise. By repeating this process, increasingly effective goals can be chosen. Most importantly the successes can be celebrated.

To talk with me, all you do is call 610-394-2547. We then arrange a mutually convenient time when you will call me. Coaching sessions usually last between 30 minutes and an hour, depending on the needs and choices of the client. You choose how often and how long we talk.
